Dye, dye, dye.

So the other day when I was having hang times, just me and Shelly (cos everyone else was at a Jazz concert which I couldn’t go to because I had class to teach but it ended up being cancelled because they lost the friggin’ key and only one person turned up anyway) and we went to ?????? which is like a hypermarket. Walked past some hair dye and said, I want to dye my hair, and that is where the decision to dye my hair red came from…

So I went to the dorm (where Shelly, Toni and Sarah live) and was getting ready to dye my hair when Sarah gets back from the toilet saying that the water has been turned off (again). At this point Shelly had already put the gloves on and was mixing the hair dye… not wanting to waste it we went ahead and started on a plan… This was the melt the snow from outside (which was plentiful) and use it to wash the dye out of my hair. There are videos. It was cold and my head did go kind of numb. My hair also really didn’t change colour.

Determined to change my hair colour I consulted Iuliia who consulted Tanya. We needed bleach. So yesterday, in the windy snowy weather we went to buy bleach (with red pigment). Tanya came over that night to dye it. I haven’t done all of my hair, just the bottom layer and it reminds me of an animae/comic book character. My hair which has had a bottle of dye washed out with melted snow, a bottle of red bleach and then another bottle of dye through it is in major need of conditioner. HOWEVER! There is no water… it turned off at like … this time last night… :( :( :( there was enough left in the tap to wash my face and brush my teeth this morning. Thank god I got all of the dye out of my hair before the water stopped last night. But it is now… 11.24pm and I want a goddam shower and a flushing toilet… erughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I’m dying. At least the electricity is on.
