So I woke up this morning with a crook as voice… this could be blamed on the couple previous nights.
Friday Night:
Friday night I had Vanessa’s dinner where her family and a couple of her friends (Shelly, Matthew, Rebecca and I) went to Thai Flame for dinner… the entrees there are SO NICE! The food was very good and I ate tons! When we got back to Nessa’s we had Nessa’s famous apple cake but unfortunately I was too full and could only eat a sliver…. and stupidly didn’t ask to take some HOME!!! NO! There probably isn’t any left now… HOW UNFORTUNATE. I must ask Nessa to make me some one day. Anoushka, Shelly, Nessa, Matthew, Becca and I played ”What The F*ck”, one of Anoushka’s prezzies to Nessa… VeRy interesting. After that we played our version of “I have Never” and because we had run out of orange juice for the vodka and orange mix and out of Archers we had to use champagne which is SO GROSS! But luckily we had made popcorn to take the taste away. YUM! Nessa got a bit tipsy and had a bit of trouble walking down the street when we walked Matthew home, quite funny to watch
Shelly and I stayed up until 3-ish, I can’t remember… and Nessa and Becca stayed up til like 6 eating toast :P We all stayed the night, except Matthew, who lives 1 street away and he came back over in the late morning when we had breakfast (which included bacon, pancakes, fruit and maple syrup!). VERY NICE. Shelly was still in her dress from the night before after being too tired to get changed… hehe. Oh, yes. Should mention that Becca and I got Vanessa a box set of Open All Hours (which is an old BBC comedy, which according to Vanessa is very funny). And sneakily coded what we got her into our card for her so she could guess the prezzie. We ARE SO FUNNY! … um. no. anyways.
Saturday Night:
Saturday night almost didn’t happen for me due to the EXTREME lack of organisation by me and Becca. We had Tash’s birthday all the way out in Grey Lynn which meant we either had to catch a bus or catch a ride with someone driving… By the time we found out that Jeff could only take one of either me or Becca it was too late to catch a bus. BUT THEN! A MIRACLE. Jeff could take us both because he wasn’t taking other people. So Sian, Becca and I caught a ride with Jeff. Got there danced, had a few drinks and Becca even made a new invention of sorts. The seven strawed drink… you basically stick seven straws in a drink… it was funny watching people drink from it… Then everyone left for home or went out clubbing with Tash. This left Becca and I who were the only ones who were both staying the night AND not going clubbing… this is because I don’t have any ID (except my passport) so even though I’m eighteen I’m A LOSER WITHOUT PORTABLE ID. I don’t really count passports being portable because I only really carry those when I go to other countries… not clubs. So me and Becca hung out on the tramp under a pile of blankets and pillows… then got invited to dance inside with the adults, David (Tash’s Dad), Fi and Edwina who are like the coolest adults EVER! After many hours of dancing on tables and inhaling heaps of smoke from the machine the others got home and amazingly Tash could still dance so the dancing started all over again! The sky was actually lightening when I tucked into my sleeping bag… still wearing my clothes from that night. In the morning Sam, Tash, Becca, Fi and I had a breakfast of bacon (AGAIN!), eggs and sausages cooked all on the BBQ. Becca and I ended up being the only ones to stay for brekkie because the others had work in the morning… muahahahaa…
All in all this last weekend was pretty much a perfect weekend to begin the holidays on. Totally forgot to talk about my French and Chem exams. They were pretty alright. EXAMS ARE COMPLETELY OVER!!!! Except I had a scary dream last night where I had to do my Bio exam (again it seems) and I hadn’t studied and started to get freaked out.
Totally craving some apple cake…………….
