There is nothing like a fresh experience to fuel creative flames.

AHHHHHH!! PANIC!!! There are many words to describe my night. It is 11.30 and at any time I could get caught on here instead of in bed but I must spread the word of how FREAKIN’ AMAZING PANIC! ARE LIVE!!!! It’s like listening to the CD louder than maxium volume and all of the music has taken some sorta party pill before starting. I’m listening to the CD now and it’s really really mild compared to it live.

Well. Started out at Becca’s where we met and got lifts to the city. On the way Mona got pretty in her homemade tribute to Panic! shirt. We (Mona, Ludwig, Becca and I) were all playing around on our digital doodahs taking film and stuff. Recording the moment. Drove past the St James where there was line of people… Long to some, short to some. Depend on who’s view. We turned up the music in the car super loud as we drove past (which was Panic!). Hahaha. Got there and we had been separated from the other car. It’s ok.. They were lining up so we joined them… slipped in line. While waiting there for honestly an hour and half we started moving. While we were waiting people down the front kept screaming. It was honestly super random. Anyway got in and Carolyn didn’t have her ticket so we picked it up from the TicketDirect counter. Woooo… relief. So glad she could get through :D Absolutely packed! Got to our seats and there were people having difficulty READING their seat number so the ushers were really busy. The stink thing was Carolyn had a seat ages away from us. So we just sneaked her with us… Until we got caught half way through the 48 May performance. I was so sad. I got her into trouble.. but she was just reseated in her real seat. I didn’t really enjoy 48 May’s performance. They weren’t who the crowd wanted to see, but some people got really into it and started throwing their panties and g-strings on stage. Ummm… k then. Then the lead singer put them on.. then took them off. I was pretty down the whole time ‘cos I felt sorry for Carolyn who had to sit next to a girl with bad B.O. :( But she still had fun. :)
When they were finished, the stage crew set up for Panic! It was half way through this… ‘cos the set up took a good 15 minutes… that this is what we had been waiting 2 months for. THE REAL PANIC! AT THE DISCO….. As soon as the house lights turned down the crowd went absolutely mental. It was CRAZY!! I screamed at the top and bottom of my lungs and still couldn’t hear myself. When they were on stage people went …. INSANE… it’s hard to explain without using the same words. You had to be there. They played like amazingness. Hehehe. Brendon Urie looked really small from the where we were sitting. He was like MAD… at points I thought he was having some sort of random spaztic fit but that’s what made it awesome… the uncontroable energy from the performance was fueling the crowd. At about the 3rd/4th/5th song Brendon pointed into the crowd moshing away and a bodyguard from offstage ran in and grabbed a girl who was topless…. she wore a bra… and took her outta the way. Everyone was looking at her.. I’m pretty sure for a split second the entire audience concentrated on something that wasn’t making music. We all wondered what had happened.. Then Brendon (eww… using his first name like this makes it seem that I know him/am obsessed. I am neither.) said… “Be nice, it’s not fight night.” Well we were later discussing in Burger King that her dress was probably pulled down in a cat fight in the middle of the mosh. All through the performance bottles of half drunken pump water was thrown into the crowd while misc. items were thrown on stage including more underwear, an arrangement of soft toys and, my personal favourite, a NZ flag. They did a number of covers, none of which I recongised. The most popular song of the night?? Both their currently released singles I Write Sins Not Tragedies and But It’s Better If You Do got the crowd singing along, however the winning song on the night was their rather raunchy song Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off getting the crowd screaming out the lyrics of the whole thing. My lungs have never had a better work out without doing any sort of cardio. We weren’t allowed to stand :( My ribs are feeling strangely movey… like… anyway. Looking around at the crowd in the Grand Circle some of them were very placid and rather bored looking. They took the seats of the REAL fans who couldn’t make it due to lack of tickets. At least we got to go. Every last breath in my lungs were used to the maxium level. They/he commented that we made them feel really welcome and that Auckland was becoming their new favourite place. Ummm.. yeah.. right. They probably say that everywhere and there is no reason to believe that it’s true/or that it’s false, but deep down everyone knows he’s just saying that to make the crowd happy. He/they said that he/they loved us. Now this is believable ‘cos the relationship between band and fans is, normally a love-love one. However, we don’t have anything interesting/special to make this the favourite place. Yesterday they went to KELLY TARLTONS…. that’s what totally kick-ass rock bands do when they come to NZ’s biggest city, go to Kelly Tarltons. But DAMN.. I would give almost anything to be at Kelly Tarltons yesterday :D it’s like every fan’s dream… to go to some random, more or less desserted place only to run into their favourite band of all time/2nd equal favourite band ever! No competition for autographs… and everyone’s been there so many times you could have toured them around…………. oh well……

Ok. Need to get the highlighter and vivid off my arms and go to bed.
