Wow, so school started.
THE FIRST DAY OF THE LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL!
It was average… got our timetables and spent all of first period and some of second period waiting to get it sorted out because I had a random as clash or something… I have:
Ms Ladds for Bio, Mrs Briggs for Classics, Mr TP for Chem, Mrs Bennet for Stats and Mrs McMillan for French.
I can’t wait until the next holidays seeing as I’ll be spending it on the other side of the world. It’s going to be so AWESOME!
Suprisingly, even though we’ve only had two days of school, we’ve already started classes properly, going over and reviewing stuff from last year. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get through all of my subjects without struggles especially since I’m not in any classes with people which I usually rely on to explain things to me when I don’t understand them… Mainly Becca for bio and Ludwig for maths. Stats is going to be so hard this year. I sit with Bilsim which is nice.
I’m worried that I’m not going to understand a thing which has led me to constantly asking whether I’m right… This happened to me in Chem when we were going over Redox/Oxidation Numbers… and after every question I answered I had to ask Jane/Ben/Matthew whether they got the same answer… what’s the word??? INSECURE. I probably really annoyed them… especially because I say really random things that they don’t get… which is understandable. I’m going to go insane if I don’t have that weird/sarcastic/random outlet…
Bio is boring… so far. Lots of listening. I sit with Sian, Abbey, Joanne and Jane. Ms Ladds is just like she was last year. I want excellences this year but it’s going to be so hard!
On a lighter note I got lead student. Awesome… even better so did a lot of my friends which means that Leadership Camp this year is going to be fun. I think Mrs Brinsdin said it was happening this coming weekend. It’s more of a leadership thing than a camp thing, which sucks. But she did say that the lead/head students will get to do more fun stuff like paintball.
Genie threw a spazz at me the other day because Discovery doesn’t have any Yr 12 lead students. She said that we (current Yr 13) have had almost all of the opportunities to be lead students and that it isn’t fair that Yr 12’s have to wait until next year. I see her point of view. I’d get peeved too. But I also see it from Ms Cox/Mr Dawson’s P.O.V where they have a group of very high calibre blah blah blah etc… I’m sure you don’t really want to read that.
Motion City Soundtrack is awesome. Listen to them.

hey. congrats again on getting lead student!! I’m so excited about the leadership course next weekend! i’m really glad you, becca and ludwig got lead student! i still can’t believe that I got it, it seems so surreal. After two years of wanting something so badly and then to get it, its strange. But a good strange, of course.
I think I’m going to go to bed soon, its only 8.30 but I’m super tired. My iron levels have been quite low lately and i havent been sleeping well so that doesnt help. Next weeks going to be quite hectic so I hope i’ll have enough energy for the leadership course on the weekend! I hope your well — i hope your good — which sounds better? they both sound weird…..ok right…moving on..
I can’t think of anything else to say apart from saying that i cant think of anything else to say.

wow, that was a long comment before. sorry to comment again, i just wanted to ask something. i used to get emails whenever you updated your blog and whenever you did i would read them. but lately i havent had any emails, and i was like hmm i wonder why novia hasnt updated her blog. so tonight i thought i would check to see if maybe the emails had stopped, and they had. because i havent read most of your blogs from the holiday. anyway the point is: how come i havent been getting any emails? i dont mean to be a pain but i like reading your blogs because sometimes i feel like we dont catch as often as i would like us to so this is one way i can find out whats happening with you when i dont see you. –that was a long sentence. anyway i will cya at school tomorrow!
