Second Draw Down

Heres the run down of my week so far:

MONDAY: Woke nice and early to catch the 8.15am bus with Chris and Genie to the city. Got there and went to every single asain shop there! My feet were killing me but they were cool. Me and Genie got Docie’s Christmas presents there. There’s also this totally awesome shop called Smoove They were playing The Strokes….. hehehe… YAY. Chris bought me and cookie. YAY. Then I bought him one. Mrs Higgins cookies are the greatest. YAY. On the bus I was tired as. Vanessa called me and then when we got home she came over for a while. YAY.

TUESDAY: Uh, ok. Tuesday, Tuesday. I know I know what I did……….. *thinking* Ok. I remember now :D I hung out with Martina during the day. We went to the post office to send some stuff to Slovakia. It was raining which wasn’t too nice. She got me Sushi. YAY.  Then we went to her “house” and played SingStar. YAY. Ate sushi and finished playing every single song on SingStar. Went to Botany and she got me some ice-cream. YAY. Met up with Becca and Tessa. YAY. They were buying birthday presents for Mona. Then I we went to Swirl and met up with Genie who had just finished work. What nice timing. Soon after that we parted ways and me and Genie went home.

WEDNESDAY: I thought this would be a good time to get Mona’s birthday present seeing as her party was that night. I got her some coloured blu-tack which is just what she wanted. YAY. I also got Mum’s present which was a cd by Julio Iglesias. Shhh. Don’t tell her. YAY. A nice shop assistance helped me in Sounds to find it ‘cos I was completely lost. I didn’t even know how to spell his name not that I even had the right name. Becca and Ludwig were meant to be meeting me there at 11.30. Went to Whitcoulls to hang around for a while ‘cos I was there early. EVERYONE WAS LATE>>>>>>> Mega angry. After Ludwig finally found a prezzie (Sounds gift card) we went to have lunch. Zak, the genius that he is, suggested Daikoku. Spent ages figuring out what we wanted at the menu at the door and then realised that the menu was for the other restaurant. Oh well. Lunch was still mega cool. The guy cooked it in front of us. YAY. Becca, Tessa and Ludwig shared two meals. There were two business men sitting with us and when they left, early without dessert, a lady at the opposite table said something along the lines of “I thought they were with them” pointing to them and then to us. This led to a group discussion at her table, I was the only one at mine that noticed. After they left I bought it up with the others. Everyone thought it was funny. Hehe. YAY. Ludwig and Zak went to go do something while me, Becca and Tessa went to Becca’s house until Mona’s party. Helped with Becca’s paper run then went to Mona’s house. Got there 10 minutes late, but that’s ok. I was almost strangled when Kuljeet hugged me. We put presents under the tree, had some snacks then waited ages for Ludwig to come. We decided on dinner first which was lots of food. YAY. Then opened prezzies. She gave us all a big block of Black Forrest which I was eating earlier but stopped ’cos I was starting to feel a bit sick. Played some Cranium. My group lost but that’s ok. Then everyone voted to watch some movie. Final Destination 3. I only got to watch half of it. I got a lift with Kuljeet. It’s awesome having neighbours that are friends too.

THURSDAY: It was the first full day that Docie had off. Me Genie and Docie went shopping for each others presents and I got a new, shiny and glossy mag with MCR on the cover to add to my collection. I now have 3. Docie and Genie had Subway for lunch and I cooked pasta at home Becca and Tessa invited me to have lunch with them but I was already at home and wasn’t up to walking all the way back to Botany besides I wanted to spend some time with my sisters. We spent that time together playing Monopoly Junior and then sleeping while watching Recess the movie. Well, I was sleeping. That night I picked up Vanessa and we went to Ludwig’s house for a movie. Tessa and Becca were already there, they had been there since 3. Everyone but me and Vanessa, who were full from eating dinner, had dinner. Me and Vanessa got to sit in the comfy leather chairs next to the Christmas tree. After that we had to walk to Blockbusters to get the movie. Overall we spent like an hour getting the movie. Watched it when we got back. Stick It- good movie. Went home.

FRIDAY: It’s only been half of Friday. Went to the temple. Grr, I don’t like going and I choose not to pray. We only go on really random days. You get water there. Apparently it’s blessed and is good for you. Came home and sat down and wrote the post about Waihi, which took forever. After lunch today we (my family minus Genie who is at work) are going to Countdown (*shiver* HATE Countdown) to buy stuff for Brenda’s annual Christmas hamper. Ok. Update later ’bout that.
