Holiday breakdown:
Thursday: Spent most of the morning at Point View Primary blowing up balloons for their 10th Anniversary with Lisa, Lisa, Erin, Ludwig, Henry and Becca (and this other random girl from Blake). Had an awesome morning tea and had heaps of fun with the helium and balloons. Hehe. Then went to Botany with Becca and met up with Vanessa and we went job hunting. Stalked a guy for a while. That was fun.
Friday: Went to the Easter Show with my lovely family. Saw Karen, her mum is going through a… rough patch would be an understatement but I don’t know what else fits. Any way, watched some stupid show about the “great cadbury bunny” … put on by Cadbury, pure propaganda. It was annoying and stupid but did get some free chocolate from the show. YUM. Rowen from my class was standing behind me in the hotdog line. There was a wobbly ladder thing that Genie tried, harder than it was at camp. Docie climbed up this wall and got a certificate for it. She did it really quickly, me and Genie turned around to look at shirts and she was up and down again. Lots of animals and saw David Farrier at the cat show, OMG…. most exciting part of the day. After we got back I went with Becca and Martina to Becca’s dad’s house, stayed the night. Played lots of SingStar Watched “The Wrong Man” so good and interesting. Nice wallpaper.
Saturday: Woke up late and had leftover pizza for breakfast. All I ate while I was there was pizza, icecream, easter eggs (that Becca gave me, yay.) and chips. I love those weekends. Watched all the rest of the first season of “Dead Like Me” and played SingStar the whole day. Had icecream for lunch :D. Went home that evening and read some of The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.
Sunday: Tried ignoring Genie while she complained that she was bored and read The Lovely Bones. Played Set with Genie and Docie when Genie cheered up and they made Swedish Tea Ring, which was yummy, even though it was undercooked. I actually finished The Lovely Bones just before, it’s really good. We have to read it for English. Do you think it’s a bad thing that I’ve already finished reading the extended text we need to read for English in less than a week even though it’s the holidays? Well, the book is extremely good and I’m glad that we are actually reading a REAL novel for English this year.
