So, it’s the first of January 2007, the day when most New Year’s resolutions are broken. I have a few of my own that I would like to share .
1. I guess the first one would be to lose weight, like most people. This would mean increasing my energy output and decreasing my energy input. That means no junk food. Hm, like to see how this one works out. The sad thing is if I do complete this goal it would mean all my clothes won’t fit. I guess all I can hope for is that baggy is in fashion this year.
2. This one is easy. The “do it now” resolution where I do everything now. For example homework, come home and DO IT NOW. Need to tidy my desk, DO IT NOW. This is simple yet effective.
3. Read more. I’ve always liked reading but last year I just do much of it and just realised last week how much I like it
Books I want to read this year: Eldest, Angels and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, Digital Fortress.
I think that’s enough. I’ll just have a few so that I can accomplish all of them. All of these come into effect as of today. My biggest worry is no. 1, I love food too much and don’t really like sweating. I think that it will be the most difficult. The easiest will be no.3. Reading is easy but whenever I have a book I can’t do anything until it’s finished, especially if it’s good. I feel kinda sad that I can slob around anymore
Reflection on 2006:
For me it was a rather balanced year, good socially ‘cos I made lots of new friends and got to spend time with them more but bad academically as this was the hardest year I’ve ever been through and I felt like I struggled a bit. I also have had loads and loads of awesome memories that I will remember forever. Yay. I hope this year will be even better
Well I’m off to go play some Neopets as a part of my DO IT NOW resolution. I will then go find something I can do in terms of exercise.
